Man in court over Caledonia Primary stabbing

A man has appeared in court in connection with the stabbing of a man outside a primary school in Glasgow.

Steven Savage, 38, from Uddingston, South Lanarkshire was charged with attempted murder, assault to injury and making threats.

The alleged incident is said to have happened as parents arrived to collect their children from Caledonia Primary School in Baillieston on 20 January.

The 38-year-old made no plea or declaration and the case was continued.

He appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.

He is expected to appear again next week.
