Man held over online Neil Lennon 'threats'

A man has been arrested after an investigation into alleged online threats towards Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

Strathclyde Police said its Major Crime and Terrorism Investigation Unit detained the 20-year-old man at his home in Glasgow.

It is alleged he posted threatening communications on a social networking website.

The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

He was charged under the new Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communication Act.
