Items worth £10K stolen from Glasgow's Park Bar

Property thought to be worth more than £10,000 has been stolen during a break-in at a pub in Glasgow's west end.

Police said entry was forced to the Park Bar, Kelvingrove, sometime between 00:30 and 07:00 on Monday.

The theft was discovered when staff arrived to open the pub.

Officers believe that those responsible for the robbery may have used a vehicle to help them make off with the stolen items. Police have appealed for witnesses to get in touch.

Det Con Laura Durnie, of Strathclyde Police, said: "At this time it is unknown how many people were involved but I believe that those responsible may have had access to a vehicle due to the amount of property stolen however this can not be confirmed at this time.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the general area anytime after 00:30 hours this morning and saw or heard any activity at or near to the pub that they believe was out of the ordinary to come forward."
