Four held after injured man found in Paisley's Marshall's Lane

Four men have been arrested after a seriously injured man was found unconscious in a lane at the weekend.

The 43-year-old was discovered lying in Marshall's Lane, Paisley, at about 00:10 on Sunday.

He is being treated at the Renfrewshire town's Royal Alexandra Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

Two men aged 20, and two others aged 21 and 25 were arrested over the incident. They are expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court later.
