Lawyer Robert Taylor faces 15 Legal Aid fraud charges

A Glasgow lawyer is facing 15 charges for allegedly trying to defraud the Legal Aid Board out of £3,576.

Robert Taylor, 63, is charged with submitting false accounts between 2005 and 2006 at his lawyer's firm, Robert Taylor and Co, in Bath Street.

The accounts relate to time spent with clients in court and other meetings.

Mr Taylor, of Croftamie, Stirling, was not present when the case called at Glasgow Sheriff Court. It was continued without any plea being tendered.
