Two teenagers who admitted carrying out three armed robberies at shops in North Lanarkshire in two days have each been jailed for four years.

Francesco D'Aguanno, 19, and Craig Lafferty, 18, targeted the Daily Shop Express in Kippen Street, Airdrie, on 17 May and again the following morning.

They also raided Hand Save, in the town, later on 18 May.
