Two men arrested over Baillieston street attack

Two men have been arrested over a street attack in Glasgow's east end which left another man badly injured.

The 22-year-old victim is alleged to have been assaulted in Ravenswood Road, in the city's Baillieston area, shortly before 01:00 on Saturday.

He was later said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Police said two men, aged 22 and 33, had been arrested over the incident. They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.
