Two held over £100,000 heroin raids in Glasgow and Rutherglen

Two men have been arrested after heroin with a street value of more than £100,000 was seized in police raids in Glasgow and South Lanarkshire.

Officers recovered heroin worth more than £90,000 after stopping a Vauxhall car in Rutherglen, at 21:45 on Tuesday.

Later that night, officers searched a property in Kings Park, Glasgow, and seized heroin worth £10,000.

Two men, aged 21 and 27, were arrested and are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
