Probe into £250,000 cannabis farm found in Glasgow

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £250,000 have been found at a warehouse in Glasgow.

The plants were found by the landlord during a visit to the premises in Torrisdale Street, Govanhill, at about 16:00 on Saturday.

He alerted police who later seized the large cultivation.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the persons who rented the warehouse. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
