Baby in hospital after dog attack in Glasgow's Springburn

A baby girl is being treated in hospital after being attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier in Glasgow.

The 18-month-old baby suffered serious facial injuries after the attack on Hawthorn Street in Springburn on Friday night.

She was taken to the city's Yorkhill Children's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious but stable.

The dog, and another, have been seized by officers from Strathclyde Police.
