Man dies after firearms incident in Paisley

A man has died after a firearms incident at a house in the Johnstone area of Renfrewshire at the weekend.

The 41-year-old was found seriously injured at the house in Hogg Avenue at about 20:30 on Saturday.

He died the following day in Glasgow's Southern General Hospital.

Strathclyde Police said detectives were carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the exact circumstances of the man's death which was being treated as "unexplained".
