Boy, four, dies after fall from Glasgow flats

A four-year-old boy has died after falling from a window of a block of flats in Glasgow.

Strathclyde Police said officers were called to the scene in St Andrew's Drive in the Pollokshields area of the city at about 10:20.

The boy had fallen from a third floor property. He was taken by ambulance to Yorkhill Sick Children's Hospital but later died.

A police spokeswoman said inquiries into what happened were ongoing.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
