Two held after death of Anthony Dryden in Airdrie

Two men have been arrested after a 42-year-old man died following a fight in North Lanarkshire at the weekend.

Anthony Dryden was found injured after police were called to reports of an altercation in Stonefield Street, Airdrie, at about 16:10 on Saturday.

He was taken to Monklands Hospital where he died the following day.

Two men, aged 22 and 25, have been arrested in connection with his death. They are expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court.
