Suspicious package at Glasgow Airport 'harmless'

A suspicious package at Glasgow Airport has been found to be harmless, an airport spokesman has confirmed.

Bomb disposal experts were called to the cargo area at about 11:15 on Monday.

A 150m exclusion zone was set up as a precaution while investigations were carried out.

Police said there had been no danger to public safety. The airport said its normal business had not been disrupted.
