Man hurt in early hours Thornliebank street attack

A man has been injured after being attacked in a street in the south side of Glasgow.

Police said the 38-year-old man was found injured on Boydstone Road in Thornliebank at 04:15 on Sunday.

He was taken to the Victoria Hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for his injuries.

An area of the street was cordoned off by officers while they carried out investigations. A spokesman for Police Scotland said inquiries were on going.
