Two men stabbed in flat disturbance in Greenock

Two men are being treated for stab wounds following a disturbance at a flat in Greenock, Inverclyde.

Police were called to the property in the town's Hay Street at 07:00 after reports that a man had been assaulted.

They found two injured men, aged 18 and 42. They were taken to Inverclyde Royal Infirmary, where their condition was described as stable.

It is believed that police are following a definite line of inquiry over the incident.
