Man injured after being trapped under bus in Port Glasgow

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after becoming trapped under a bus in Inverclyde.

The man, thought to be about 30, was hit by the bus in Shore Street, Port Glasgow, at about 09:50.

He was freed by firefighters using specialist lifting equipment.

He was then given CPR by paramedics at the scene before being taken to the Southern General Hospital by ambulance.
