Police recover man's body from River Clyde in Glasgow

Emergency services have recovered the body of a man from the River Clyde in Glasgow.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said the body was spotted in the water, near the Ferry venue, close to the Kingston Bridge, at about 08:15 on Friday.

She said that a post mortem examination would be carried out to establish the cause of the man's death.

Police are trying to identify the man and there is no indication at present whether his death was suspicious.
