Police have appealed for help in tracing a teenager who has been missing since attending the Belladrum festival.

Tom Fraser, 19, from Glasgow, was last seen at about 14:00 BST on Sunday 4 August at Inverness train station.

He had been at the festival, at Beauly near Inverness, and friends believed that he was heading back to Glasgow. He was reported missing on 5 August.

Mr Fraser is described as white, 5ft 7in tall and of stocky build, with light brown hair and stubble.

When he was last seen, he was wearing a khaki green long parka jacket and dark coloured jeans.

Sgt Gerard Orr, of Police Scotland, said: "Tom hasn't been missing before and it is out of character for him not to contact his family and friends.

"Since Tom was reported missing, officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries in relation to his whereabouts, and have followed up a number of lines of enquiry, but we have so far been unable to trace him."

Sgt Orr urged anyone with information about Tom's whereabouts to contact police.
