Man in court charge with Glasgow west end rape

A man has appeared in court charged with raping a teenager in Glasgow's west end.

David Brown is alleged to have sexually assaulted the 19-year-old woman near West Princes Street and Queens Crescent on 31 October.

The 31-year-old made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.

Mr Brown is expected to appear in court again next week.
