Man's body found in Glasgow near hockey centre

The death of a man whose body was found near the Glasgow National Hockey Centre is being treated as unexplained.

Police Scotland said the man was discovered in a car at the centre's car park, in Kings Drive, Glasgow Green, at about 00:40 on Wednesday.

A spokeswoman for the force said a post mortem examination would be held in due course to establish how the man died. He has still to be formally identified.

The hockey centre has been closed while police inquiries continue.
