Blaze in Pollok, Glasgow, tackled by 40 firefighters

About 40 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at a two-storey building in Glasgow's south side on Sunday.

Crews were called to the scene in Ladymuir Crescent, Pollok, following a 999 call just before 22:00.

They found fire throughout the roof space and the first floor, which houses a community centre. Shops are located on the building's ground floor.

No one was injured in the blaze. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said there were no suspicious circumstances.
