'Suspicious' death of man at Clydebank flat

A police investigation is under way after a man died following a disturbance at a flat in Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire.

Officers were called to an incident at a property in Graham Avenue in the town at about 01:30.

They found a man, believed to be in his 40s, seriously injured. He died a short time later.

Police Scotland said the death is being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination was due to be carried out.

Detectives have appealed for anyone who was in the area from midnight onwards to come forward and speak to police.
