Drugs worth £1m found in Glasgow lock-up garages
Drugs with a street value of £1m have been recovered after a number of lockup garages were searched in Glasgow.
Police, acting on warrants, searched the premises in Glenburn Avenue, Baillieston, at about 18:00 on Monday.
A large quantity of drugs, believed to be amphetamine, cocaine and diazepam were found.
Det Insp Frank Clarke, of Police Scotland, said the operation was targeted at "those who bring misery to our communities".
He added: "I would urge members of the public to continue to come forward with any information or concerns in their areas."
