Image released following Beith bookmakers robbery

Beith robbery Officers would like to speak to the man seen in the bookmakers shop

Police investigating a robbery at a bookmakers shop in Ayrshire have released an image of a man.

William Hill in Eglinton Street in Beith was raided at about 21:00 on Wednesday 19 February. A man with a weapon demanded money from staff.

Officers said the man was seen heading off in the direction of Manrahead roundabout.

Anyone with information about the robbery has been asked to contact Saltcoats CID.

Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers.

The man police want to trace was wearing a black motorcycle helmet, black motorcycle jacket, dark trousers and white trainers. He was carrying a dark backpack.
