Road reopens after 'old bomb' scare in Benalder Street, Glasgow
A busy street in Glasgow's west end has reopened to traffic after a suspected old bomb was found on a building site.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said emergency services were notified about the discovery on Benalder Street, near Partick Cross, at 11:00 on Thursday.
Bomb disposal experts were called to the incident and found that the item which had been discovered presented no danger.
Emergency services were stood down and the road reopened at about 13:00.
