Police investigating rape in Glasgow make fresh appeal

Police investigating the rape of a 24-year-old woman in Glasgow have returned to the scene of the attack two weeks on in a bid to discover fresh information.

Officers spoke to people and handed out leaflets where the victim was assaulted by two men in Dixon Road, Govanhill, in the early hours of 19 May.

Police said there had been a "positive response" to the operation, which also took in Cathcart Road and Boyd Street.

A spokeswoman sad the fresh information would be examined on Monday.

Police previously released images and CCTV footage of two men they want to speak to in connection with the attack.
