Chhokar murder: Hearing over Crown moves for new trial
Three men have appeared before appeal judges as the Crown attempts to retry them over the murder of an Asian man in Lanarkshire in 1998.
David Montgomery, 37, Ronnie Coulter, 46, and Andrew Coulter, 33, were all cleared of murdering Surjit Singh Chhokar, 32, in Overtown.
Prosecutors want to use changes in the law of double jeopardy which opens the way for a possible re-trial.
There will be further hearings before the judges announce their decision.
