Police have named a man who died at a caravan park in Ayrshire on Thursday night.

George Boyce died of stab wounds after a disturbance at Sandylands Holiday Park, in Saltcoats.

The 41-year-old was from Gleniffer View in Neilston. Police said his relatives had been informed of his death.

A 28-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the death and is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday.
