A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in his Glasgow home.

The body of Alan Whitelaw, 39, was found in his 10th floor flat in Glenfinnan Road, in the Maryhill area of the city, shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

Police have thanked the public after appealing for witnesses.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
