Two men treated after tenement blaze in Maryhill, Glasgow

Two men have been treated for the effects of smoke inhalation after fire broke out at a flat in Glasgow.

Three appliances were sent to the tenement block in Kirkhill Drive, Maryhill, after 999 calls were received at about 21:30 on Wednesday.

Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the block of flats and extinguished the blaze.

The two men were given oxygen until paramedics arrived but they declined to attend hospital.
