Three held in Glasgow and Falkirk in serious crime probe

Three people have been arrested in Glasgow and Falkirk over suspected links with serious organised crime.

Three properties were searched in Glasgow on Friday at Selvieland Road, Penilee, Springfield Road, Dalmarnock and Darnaway Avenue, Garthamlock. Two men, aged 29 and 30, were arrested.

A man, aged 31, was held after a search at a property in Alma Street, Falkirk.

All three men are expected to appear from custody at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.

Police said all men were detained in connection with allegedly being involved in serious and organised crime.
