Arrests over Jean Campbell murder in Glasgow

Jean Campbell Mrs Campbell's body was found in Cranhill Park by her husband

Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the death of Jean Campbell.

Mrs Campbell, 53, was found dead in Glasgow's Cranhill Park on 13 December 2013. Her body was discovered by her husband.

A second man, aged 22, has also been arrested.

He is being held in connection with an allegation of attempting to pervert the course of justice in connection with the investigation.

Police Scotland said a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

The case of Mrs Campbell's death featured for a second time on the BBC's Crimewatch programme in April.

The programme showed CCTV images of Mrs Campbell in a local shop and walking her dog, and an interview with her daughter.

Following the broadcast, detectives said they had taken a number of calls offering them information.
