Glasgow 2014: Two men arrested 'are team officials'

Two men arrested by police in Glasgow on Friday are thought to be team officials attending the Commonwealth Games.

Police Scotland have confirmed two men were arrested in connection with unrelated incidents.

A 49-year-old man was arrested in connection with an alleged assault in the city centre.

A 45-year-old man was arrested and is detained in custody in connection with an assault in the city's West End.

Both are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
