Body recovered after River Clyde search near Braehead

A man's body has been recovered from the water after a major search operation on the River Clyde near Braehead Arena.

The search began after reports of a man being seen in the water at about 10:40.

Police officers were joined by fire service personnel and a Royal Navy rescue helicopter from HMS Gannet at Prestwick.

Police said late on Saturday afternoon that the man who died had not yet been identified.
