The Met Office has issued yellow "be aware" warnings for a number of areas in Scotland.

They said heavy rain forecast to move in from Northern Ireland in the course of Saturday could cause surface water flooding.

Recent rain has left many fields saturated with water.

Rain arrived in Scotland at about 12:00. The areas most likely to be affected are south-west Scotland, the Borders and Strathclyde.
