Ex-nurse Sarah Chambers sentenced for knife attack

A former nurse who attacked her partner with a knife has been ordered to carry our 200 hours of unpaid work.

Sarah Chambers, 57, lashed out at Joseph Wilson with the knife during a row at her home in Maryhill, Glasgow, on 29 August last year.

She cut his face and Mr Wilson also suffered a cut to his hand when he tried to grab the knife.

Chambers denied the attack but was convicted at Glasgow Sheriff Court. She will also be supervised for two years.

The community payback order was imposed by Sheriff Martin Williams who also ruled that Chambers must not approach or contact or attempt to approach or contact Mr Wilson during that time.
