Woman and two children hurt in Glasgow tenement fire

A woman and two infant children have been treated in hospital following a fire at flats in the south of Glasgow.

Crews were called to the tenement block on Langlands Road, in the Govan area of the city, at about 19:20 on Sunday.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze in the common close area and treated the woman and two young boys for the effects of smoke inhalation.

The woman was later taken to the Southern General Hospital and the children to Yorkhill Hospital.
