About 20 firefighters have successfully prevented a two-miles wide grass fire in Dunbartonshire from reaching a farm.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said four engines - from Clydebank, Dumbarton and Balloch - were sent to the Bellsmyre Hills just before noon.

Firefighters used beaters to contain the blaze and stop it moving towards a farm in the area.

They left the scene at about 15:00 after the area was made safe. No one was injured during the incident.
