Miniature motorbike rider in serious condition after Barrhead car crash

The rider of a miniature motorbike is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash involving a car.

The incident happened in Springhill Road in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, at 22:00 on Tuesday.

The Mini Moto superbike rider was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries. The driver of the red Ford Fiesta car was uninjured.

Police Scotland have appealed for witnesses.
