Two men arrested after £235,000 drugs raid

Police have arrested two men after drugs with a street value of £235,000 were recovered in East Renfrewshire and East Ayrshire.

Officers stopped two vehicles in the Uplawmoor and Stewarton areas as part of an intelligence-led operation on Friday, 29 July.

They seized cocaine and cannabis worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Two men aged 35 and 40 were arrested in connection with the raid and have been detained in police custody.
