Man in court over murder of Glasgow pensioner Gordon Bolam
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a pensioner who was found dead in his flat in Glasgow last month.
Imrich Joni, 19, is alleged to have killed Gordon Bolam, 68.
He also faces a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court. He was remanded in custody and will appear for a full committal hearing next week.
Mr Bolam was found dead in his flat in Kenmure Street, Pollokshields, on 14 July.
Police said at the time he had last been seen alive on the afternoon of 27 June at the Adelphi centre in the Gorbals.
