Crewman seriously injured in fishing boat incident

A crewman is in hospital after being seriously injured in an incident on board a fishing vessel off the Clyde coast.

The man was on the UK-registered Sea Harvester when the incident happened seven miles off Ailsa Craig on Wednesday.

A Marine Accident Investigation Branch team is looking into the incident.

The vessel has been berthed at Campbeltown in Argyll while the inquiry takes place.

The man was taken to hospital in Glasgow. His condition is not known.
