CCTV appeal after politics row triggers station attack

Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a train passenger was assaulted following a political row.

British Transport Police said the victim lost two teeth after he was punched in the mouth at Paisley Gilmour Street about 19:30 on 11 November.

The attack happened after the victim and the suspect had an argument about politics on a Glasgow Central service.

The suspect is 5ft 6in, aged 30 to 35, of thin build and was dressed in black.

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police.
