Inverurie firm to design new Dalmore distillery centre

An architectural design company in Aberdeenshire has won a key role in the revamp of a Highland distillery's visitor centre.

JAMstudio has designed and will project manage the upgraded centre at Whyte & Mackay-owned Dalmore, near Alness.

The site has distilled whiskies that have sold for £10,000 a bottle.

JAMstudio director Marie-Louise Dunk said it was one of the most exciting commissions the firm based at Fetternear, near Inverurie, has landed.

David Robertson, rare whisky director at Whyte & Mackay, said he was delighted the design work had gone to a company in the north of Scotland.
