Five men have been accused of being involved in organised crime and producing and supplying cannabis and stealing electricity.

Yuen Fai Lai, 48, of Wick, and Ah Bing Zheng, 25, of Kilbirnie, appeared at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Wan Wue Lin, 43, of London, Hong Qiang Lin, 27, and Bo Chen, 25, both of Ayrshire, appeared at the same court on Thursday.

Their appearances followed a police operation at Murkle, in Caithness.
