A Skye-based chef has been representing Scotland in this year's BBC 2 Great British Menu series.

Michael Smith, head chef at the island's Three Chimneys Restaurant, features in the series' last episode on Friday, wearing a kilt.

Four people travelled from Skye to London to support him and they will also feature in the last programme.

During the series, judges placed Mr Smith's fish, main and dessert dishes among their top three choices.

Great British Menu will be broadcast from 1800 BST on BBC 2.
