Walker who died after taking ill on Ben Nevis named

A 22-year-old man who died in hospital after taking ill on Ben Nevis has been named by police.

Arnaud Albagnac, from Aveyron, in France, was airlifted from the mountain after emergency services were alerted at 1937 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to the Belford Hospital in Fort William but died a few hours later.

He was located just above Half Way Lochan by Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team.
