Northern Constabulary suspends two officers

Northern Constabulary has confirmed that two of its officers have been suspended from duty while an inquiry is carried out into their conduct.

The suspensions follow a complaint made against the police officers who are based in the Easter Ross area.

A spokesman said: "Two officers are currently suspended from duty pending the outcome of an internal inquiry."

The spokesman added that it would be inappropriate to make any further comment.
