Man in Wick court after Caithness A9 fatal crash

A 60-year-old man from France has appeared at Wick Sheriff Court accused of causing death by dangerous driving in a crash on the A9 in Caithness.

Marc Combe made no plea of declaration and was released on bail.

Dr Kevin Costello, from Scrabster, died in the crash at Weydale, near Thurso, on 16 August.

The 47-year-old was principal teacher of science at Wick High School. He was a passenger in a car involved in a collision with a campervan.
